Coaching
1-2-1 or small groups
I take a holistic approach combining coaching and other modalities to address limiting beliefs, mental health, or emotional issues that may be holding someone back from achieving their full potential.
It is important to explore the needs, motivations, desires, skills, and thought processes to assist the client in making real, lasting change. This is achieved through gentle questioning techniques so that the client can explore and uncover their own solutions. All through the coaching sessions I apply the principle of my 3 C’s of coaching – I show compassion, I encourage curiosity, and promote courage – encouraging a commitment to action for the development of lasting personal growth & change.
According to the International Coach Federation coaching has achieved:
- 80% increase in confidence
- 73% improvement in relationships
- 72% greater communication skills
- 67% better work / life balance
Coaching assists in building resilience and reducing stress therefore having a positive impact on your health.

Workshops
To support the mental and emotional well-being of your staff and improve their resilience in stressful times, why not consider introducing workshops, all of which are based on current neuroscience. The take-away tips and techniques, when put into practice, will assist staff to be more resourceful and flourish in the workplace. When staff put these techniques into practice, sickness absence, and presenteeism are reduced, and it is proven that staff are 18% more productive when happy. These sessions can be delivered individually, or combined to half and full-day events. Delivery can be in-house or virtual.
These sessions will also expose delegates to some cutting-edge concepts in areas of positivity and emotional intelligence through the use of powerful thinking and the impact of words. The use of language can be very powerful and positive, but our self-talk can be negative and thus damaging. Through the Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques shared, individuals will benefit from raised levels of energy and be able to inspire those around them, as well as massively improve their own well-being through a more positive approach, and therefore achieve a greater level of resilience. Easy-to-use tips and techniques are provided that can be implemented immediately, both at home and at work.

Everything DiSC® Profiling & Training
Have you ever found yourself working with someone who you just couldn’t figure out? Despite your best efforts, you just weren’t clicking. Your stress level was high and productivity suffering.
Or maybe you’ve been tasked with assembling a high-functioning team for a project on a very tight deadline. Dealing with people is an art, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use some science to enhance your interactions.
This is a very simple and powerful tool that describes four basic styles: Dominance (D), Influence (i), Steadiness (S), and Conscientiousness (c), and this serves as the foundation for the Everything DiSC® application suite of profiles. The behavioral style assessment brings out the best in employees and managers by helping them.
This research-validated model will tell you:
- How to work more effectively with people who aren’t like you (or who are very similar to you).
- The personality styles of you and your team members and how they can “mesh” as a unit.
- A common language that will ensure teams understand each other and work better together.
- Your organisation would benefit greatly for using DiSC for improved onboarding, team building, personal development and as a motivational tool.
Watch this video to understand DiSC Profiling & Training
The DiSC profiling leadership training we received in the Central Leadership Team of our MAT enabled us to work more closely and effectively as a team, considering our individual and group behaviour traits. Helen played an integral role in supporting knowledge gathering regarding our communication styles as individuals and as a team. She helped us understand how we can effectively work together to meet shared and common goals. As we work with a large number of other professionals, including a variety of post holders, the DiSC profiling provided us with a list of our own traits and qualities we could reflect upon, considering how these could be received by other individuals. Having the opportunity to watch videos, which Helen supported us to evaluate, helped exemplify how leadership teams communicate effectively, considering the different behaviours and personality styles of others. Helen used a variety of methods, including role-play activities, to help us practice how we should communicate with other professionals. We have since reflected on the training and put this into practice; this has resulted in the successful consideration of other leadership styles during our team meetings and has supported with us communicating effectively with other members of our MAT. I would recommend Helen’s DiSC profiling training to any team wishing to explore how to work more effectively as a collaborative group to meet shared goals.
